Currently, the SLA Board of Directors includes Liz Blankson-Hemans from the UK. Liz has proven that one can be an active and effective Board member without being in the U.S. In addition, we currently have Board members in a number of different time zones from across the U.S. and Canada. We (the Board) are becoming quite nimble at arranging meetings at times when everyone can attend and also using collaboration tools to facilitate our interaction/work.
