Virginia Malone, Head of Library Services, University of Greenwich

Virginia started working in the University in 1988 when it was Thames Polytechnic. She has had ten different roles there to date.

Each move has been to meet a challenge. For example, setting-up a new library, or involvement with a new design-and-build project.

The University is currently a month away from implementing a new unified library management system in collaboration with the University of Kent and Canterbury Christ Church. It has a rich history of working collaboratively which stems from its shared library, The Drill Hall, in Chatham, Kent.
