Digital Communications Chair

Julia Bhojoo is an early career librarian, having previously worked in law firms as an Information Assistant and Knowledge Analyst. She has stayed within the legal sector as is an Information Officer at a UK law firm, though still considers herself as an early career librarian.

Julia has an interest in legaltech, KM, and website design. In addition to supporting SLA, she also manages the EARLL website and volunteers her technical and web skills via the MediaTrust to charities. Julia is also a member of the BIALL Diversity and Inclusion Group and CILIP BAME Network.

Amy Stubbing

Amy Stubbing is currently working at the University of East London as the Docklands Campus Library Manager and has over five years of experience working in a variety of library and archive settings. She received her MSc in Library and Information Studies in 2016, with her main area of focus in her career has been data driven decisions and service development.

Seema Rampersad
Past President (2020)

Originally from Trinidad & Tobago, Seema Rampersad works as Senior Business Researcher and Service Manager, in the Business and IP Centre, at The British Library. She has also worked for the Intelligence Unit at the Greater London Authority and for PricewaterhouseCoopers in their Business Information Centre for many years. Seema is an advocate for traditional library and information services and skills, but maintains an interest in social media and multimedia as business and professional development tools for managing and delivering information and knowledge.

Nicky Farmer
Digital Communications (LinkedIn)

Nicky Farmer is a law librarian currently embedded in Real Estate and Construction providing legal research and a service environment. She has a background in cataloguing, classification and serials management and a personal interest in knowledge management.
