The House of Commons Library is a research and information service at the heart of the UK Parliament. Based in the Palace of Westminster, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Members Library offers a range of services to Members of Parliament and their staff to help them scrutinise legislation, prepare for debates, develop policies and support their constituents.

SLA Europe is pleased to welcome two heads of service from the House of Commons Library to talk about what a typical day looks like, the tasks involved in offering information to MPs and how all the parts of the wider Library work together to provide an impartial and trusted service. It will also include a guided photographic tour of the beautiful Members Library which is not normally open to the public.
